Starting the day along the Bourguiba Avenue, main axis of the capital, leading to the entrance of the Medina, its famous BAB BHAR, entrance to the Medina and its labyrinth of picturesque souks with a thousand colours and scents.
To the National Bardo Museum (closed Monday), its archaeological treasures and especially its collection of Roman mosaics considered as one of the most beautiful in the world.
Deprture to have lunch in restaurant “LA VICTOIRE” or similar
Toward Carthage, ancient capital of the country. Visit of prestigious sites, namely Punic Ports, Antonio Thermal bathes, the Roman Theatre and the Amphitheatre.
Close by, stands the Sidi Bou Saïd hill offering a pretty walk in the cobbled alleys of this charming Moorish village, immortalised by the greatest masters of literature and arts, and so appreciated for the beauty of its whitewashed houses, punctuated by studded doors and blue musharabiehs, heaving with bougainvilleas and jasmine.
